Jan Horvath was a member of the original Broadway company of The Phantom of the Opera , where she performed the roles of Christine and Carlotta. Ms. Horvath's other Broadway credits include The Threepenny Opera starring Sting, Sweet Charity starring Debbie Allen, Stardust and Oliver! In addition to her Broadway credits, Ms. Horvath sang the leading role of Grizabella in the National Touring Company of Cats. Off-Broadway credits include the Mother in Yoko Ono's New York Rock. Svetlana in the revised version of Chess at the Master Theatre, and was featured in Jacques Brel... at the Equity Library Theatre. She also starred as Queen Isabella in the world premiere of Encounter 500 at La Sistina in Rome, Italy.

Regionally, Ms. Horvath has performed a variety of roles, including Eva Peron in Evita with the West Virginia Public Theatre, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha for Opera Grand Rapids, Chairy Barnum in Barnum with Tri-Arts Theatre, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific with Maine State Theatre and Chava in Fiddler on the Roof with the St. Louis Muni Opera. Television audiences have seen her on "All My Children" and "Loving". A graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Ms. Horvath has appeared as a guest soloist with the National Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, Kansas City Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, San Diego Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, Utah Symphony, Tulsa Philharmonic, Symphony, San Jose Symphony, Columbus Symphony, among many others. Ms. Horvath is the soprano soloist in the trio BRAVO Broadway!.
