A native New Yorker made her Off-B'way debut in Richard Foreman's Love and Science, in which she created the female lead, Elisabeth. Last spring, she toured Ireland as Asteria in Handel's Tamerlano to rave reviews. In July, she sang Giannetta in the Berkshire Opera's Elixer of lover and this fall, sang her first Micaela in Opera Roanoke's Carmen. She won the Musician Emergency Fund and Grand Prix vocal competitions (Rouen, France). This is Teresa's Broadway debut.
